Great forum, alot of good info here. I love Pavel’s books. I’ve been following the Warrior Diet for 2 weeks with great success. I have lots of energy and gained strength and muscle and lost some fat. I’m 6′ 2" weigh 175 lbs., down from 178. My short term goal is 170lbs. to see how I look and go from there. I have a physically demanding job and i do the Naked Warrior and sometimes full body bodyweight workouts if i feel like it. My goals are to gain strength and lose a litte body fat.
I’m concerned I’m not eating enough protien, I think I’m getting enough carbs from fruit and veggies as i have plenty of energy. From my understanding I need about 1-2 grams of protien per pound of body weight. So that would mean I need about 170-340 grams of protien per day.I get about 30 grams during the undereating phase. I can only consume about 60-70 grams during the main meal before i get full. I only eat a medium sized salad with a small portion of raw veggies before the protien during the main meal. So I eat my salad with veggies then 60-70 grams of protien and I’m full. I’m listening to my body to what it wants and the diet seems to be working. I’m gaining strength and muscle, so should i not worry about it? Any advice?
Also, I was wondering if it would be ok to drink a couple of cups of 2% reduced fat milk (don’t like the taste of whole milk) during the undereating phase?
Thanks in advanced,
