I have noticed that when I switch back to swinging a heavy bell, initially my grip starts to go before my breath (I feel like I could swing forever cardio wise), but after a couple of weeks, my breath will go first as well as my form (not my grip). So I can attest that vo2max training really does work, but it seems like the results are short lived.
I have only done the 15/15 with VWC. If I were to move to the other protocols, would the benefits be longer lasting.
Also, after a stint of vo2max training, would 1 session a week allow me to keep the cardio gains I have achieved?
Anyone else notice this or have insight.
