I just got VWC for Christmas, and I completed my second 15:15 session today, so obviously I have a while to go before I’ll be trying the BOOST protocol. But I have a question on scheduling those sessions. KJ lays out 14 sessions and says that the protocol should be completed in 3 weeks. But even at 4 sessions/week (the highest frequency of training KJ recommends), you’re still looking at 4 weeks to complete this cycle.
Is it necessary to complete this cycle in 3 weeks and/or is it necessary to remain at each level for the prescribed number of sessions? If you have been doing 2 VO2 sessions/week, do you have to go to 4+ sessions/week to do BOOST properly? And for those of you who have completed BOOST, what did your weekly schedule actually end up looking like during that time?
