Viking Warrior Conditioning: 15:15 or 36:36?

I’ve been following the VWC as outlined in the book (using the 15:15 protocol as Jay recommends, until one can do 80 sets of at least 7 reps per :15), but today I find myself confused.

I just watched the DVD, and Kenneth takes his first-time group right into the 36:36 protocol.

Has he rejected the recommendation in the book in favor of starting off with 36:36? Or has he rejected the recommendation on the DVD in favor of starting off with 15:15?
