Strength workouts based on ladders?

The concept of ladders intrigued me since reading ETK. I was wondering if anyone tried doing all their strength training workouts using only ladders. For example, I was thinking of a pull-push upper body segment (the C&P + pullup suggested in ETK) followed by a lower body segment (weighted pistols + RDL).

I was thinking one could manipulate how far up in the ladder one wants to go, both in terms of rungs and number of ladders. At the end of ETK, you are C&P-ing 5 ladders of 5 rungs for a total of 75 reps. Someone not so interested in the endurance part of this training could terminate the cycle at a lower point (say, 5 ladders of 4 rungs for 50 reps) before upping the weight.

Anyway, just thinking out loud here. Anyone tried this?
