I am having a couple of issues on the snatch drop. I know I need to be loose and keep it close to the body. I have been employing a technique whereby I hold the bell by the handle and part of the horn. It seems really to help and eases the pressure on the skin, ie stops catching.
Obviously this is working for me at the moment. I would like to know two things;
- Does anyone else employ this method?
- Can it be used on heavy bells?
I am practising with a 16kg bell and need to become proficient with a 24kg to complete the ROP.
Should I post 200 in ten minutes with the 16?
