Snatch before you press in ETK?

I’ve been doing the ETK for 4 months and have been consistently making gains, following the ROP step by step. While surfing the site, I looked up the chapters to Return of the Kettlebell. One of the topics is "3 reasons why you should snatch before you press" (I’m paraphrasing a bit)

Would that hold true on ROP Easy day from ETK? or Just snatch after pressing as I’ve been doing.
