Should I get a 10kg KB?

Hi, let me start by saying that I am a female and have been doing ETK ROP for few weeks now. Just yesterday, I did my heavy day with 5 ladders of 5 rungs of C&Ps with 20lb. I am planning to continue for another 2 weeks before moving on to the next size bell.

Now, I have a 25lb kettlebell and my gym has 12kg kettlebell. I am thinking that I should get a 10kg before I go for 25lb. I searched the forums and I see other members advise on using a duct tape and taping the weight and not to get the 10kg.

I tried the push press with 25lb and I can 5 on each side. However, I can not do clean and press yet.

So, what should I do? If I tape a weight to the kettlebell, will it be safe to use for clean and press?

Or, I should start program minimum with 25lb or a 12kg with one press, then 2 and keep trying?

Padma.
