Hello all. I recently passed the HKC Certification, and I’m hooked. I am scheduled for the RKC in October and I have a question for those of you with experience. I just started working through the ROP with double 26lbers (I’m a woman, btw, and was using 35lber singles before), and I’ve had great success with it in strength gains and body composition changes. However, I recently purchased VWC and I LOVE the workout. Towards the end of our HKC class, my endurance seemed to be my weakest link so I would really like to work on that so that it doesn’t cause me issues at the RKC (along with my asthma). I would also like to lose a little bit of weight before the cert.
I was thinking of continuing with the ROP 3 days a week and adding 2-3 VWC workouts on the other days, but that is alot of volume. What are your thoughts? For the RKCs out there, do you think using one over the other as my base prep workout would be better?
