1. I don’t have a bench and currently don’t even have a barbell. I do floor presses with a kettlebell. Currently can do up to 4 with each arm with a 32kg (70#) bell. Is there any way to approximate how much would my maximum bench press be? My goal of a sort is to be able to do a bodyweight benchpress and I weigh around 190#.
2. I am planning on getting a barbell with just enough weights to do a suitcase deadlift (~100# total weight). Once I can afford more weights for a regular deadlift (~200# total weight) I will be able to do floor presses with barbell (as described in PTTP). If comparing kettlebell floor presses (one arm at a time) with barbell floor presses – are there any advantages of one versus another?

P.S. If kettlebell floor presses carry over well to barbell floor presses then I am in no rush switching to barbell floor presses – I can work my way up with ladders as per ETK till I can do 5X(1-5) with a 32kg KB and only then go for a barbell floor press – is my thinking correct?
