So for background, Im not sure if this could be connected, but I have realized I need to work on my shoulder mobility and my T-spine mobility. They are not necessarily bad, but they are not where they should be.
I have worked with an RKC and most of my lifts, technically speaking, are pretty spot on. However, during my workouts I seem to be having this mid-back pain and it is really deep almost feels like my spine, but it is only during certain lifts. For example: When the weight gets fairly heavy, say I am doing double cleans or front squats, the lifts themselves feel fine. I then go to put them down, and it doesn’t matter how I put the weights down. I could drop the weights, squat down and drop them or a deadlift like motion, still the same outcome. When I stand up or after I stand up I get the weird dull pain around what feels like my spine in the mid back. It feels really tight, and then feels like I need to stretch it. I am not sure if this could be a stability problem, or maybe some muscle are working when others should be.
Also one thing I discovered is that when I get this pain and go to hang from a pull up bar it can make it worse. If I am doing pull ups my back is fine, but if I just hang and relax my midsection and lower body the same part of my mid back starts to hurt.
So there it is. Something that is been bothering me for a while now, and just wanted to see if anyone could direct me to the best possible solution.
