pure strength and strength/conditioning workout in same week?

Hi I am new to this site and pretty new to kettlebells in general having only done a few workouts with them so far. From reading this forum and other sites I realise that similar to weight training you can do pure strength based kbell workouts focusing on lower reps and longer rest between sets or strength/conditioning workouts where you train in a circuit style with only say 30 secs or less rest between sets. I plan to do at least 2 kbell workouts per week and was wondering what others thought of doing 1 pure strength session and 1 strength/conditioning session each week to kind of mix things up and aim for all round strength and fitness. Do you think this approach would work or would it be better to focus on one or the other?
