Overthinking things

Hi all,

I just got a couple of kettlebells a couple weeks ago and then I got ETK. I just started the Program Minimum this week. My main goal right now is to improve my conditioning, and getting stronger which I am confident ETK will do for me. Yet I think I am over-analysing things with my programing (my inner bodybuilder won’t die easy!).

I’m trying to figure out what to add to the program(until I get to the Rite of Passage) either on my off days or after the 5min TGU days. I’m thinking about just adding some push-ups, pull-ups, and horizontal rows and some pre-hab work for my shoulder. But then I’m also wondering if I should get some quad dominant exercises (to balance all the swings) and/or a heavy deadlift variation (but I don’t want to overdo the posterior chain since my focus is the Swings. I was also thinking about just adding the Naked Warrior program with ETK but maybe I should continue to give my hip flexors a break since they are feeling much looser since I’ve just been doing Swings and nothing for my quads.

I’m trying real hard to keep it simple, and yet I seem to always want to complicate the simple. So any thoughts would be appreciated.

I guess this is my intoduction post so, I’m glad to be aboard.
