Buying kettlebells

If you’re thinking of buying kettlebells, books, videos, or DVD, here you will find a summary of what’s available as far as kettlebells for sale.
Without a doubt, the undisputed best manufacturer of kettlebells is right here in the USA: Dragon Door. Any you can buy kettlebells right here that are from that manufacturer.
Ok, so the next thing you’re probably wondering is: “What is the
price?”
Prices on kettlebells range from $89 for the 9lb KB for your
wife or girlfriend to the mutant-strength-level 88lb kettlebell, which will set you back $179. (Don’t even think about starting off with that big brute, that is for advanced kettlebell practitioners only!)
For the average guy, a great way to start is with the “Kettlebell
Quick-Start Kit” for $154. The kit includes a 35lb KB (if you are on either side of being in decent shape, this is a good weight to start with), The Russian Kettlebell Challenge Book, as well as either the video or DVD of the same name. (To order the “Kettlebell Quick-Start Kit”, click here and scroll to the bottom of the page)
Just in case you’re thinking that seems a bit high, keep in mind the following:
1. This is not a mass-produced item, so the manufacturing process does not reflect economies of scale. Think along the lines of buying a limited-production car vs. a Ford Explorer.
2. The quality is excellent, and Dragon Door is one of the most upstanding companies you will come across online.
3. These are fashioned as authentic Russian kettlebells, made of cast iron. A kettlebell will not break, wear out, or otherwise fall apart. These suckers will last forever.
4. Finally, KBs are incredibly versatile. You could literally have your entire fitness program revolve around kettlebell training. Kettlebells provide both aerobic and anaerobic benefits. They can be used to increase strength, speed, power, and with high reps will melt the fat off your bones.
