My son beat me to 80 sets of 8…

I was first 80 sets of 7 reps, I’m stuck at 65 sets of 8 though, he’s got 80 2 workouts in a row.

I caught a lot of flack from the dads at the wrestling club, the ones who buy their kids "suppliments" at the gas station and have their kids cutting weight for 4 months out of the year. They told me that body weight exercises, like pull ups and climbing ropes, are the only way for a kid his age to go. So I guess somehow having the kid do 90 pound curls is better for him than throwing a 15 pound weight in whatever world they’re from.

The most annoying thing about it is that people can’t even tell you why kids shouldn’t pick up weighted objects, they pretty much just tell you that "they" say you shouldn’t let them.
