Military Neck (loss of cervical curve)

Has anyone had to deal with a loss of their cervical curve? I have been going to a chiropractor who uses x-ray to highlight any imperfections/subluxations of my vertebrae. He has told me, on a recent x-ray, that my cervical curve is almost gone. I don’t have too much forward head posture (some) and because of that my doctor tells me that this is why I need neck traction.

Now, neck traction is where they basically put my head and neck on a fulcrum and allow gravity to create a bend in my cervical spine, where one should be. However, I have a very tight set of traps, SCMs, etc. So, I was wondering if the loss of a cervical curve could be attributed to very tight posterior musculature a la loss of the lordotic curve because of tight hamstrings. Comrades, please help!
