MCL and ACL Sprain

Long story short, I was grappling and got a knee injury about 3 weeks ago. Had the MRI, talked to the Dr, and she said it was an MCL sprain, with a slight ACL sprain. Neither was torn, she compared it to an over stretch.

I was told no training, pivoting, cutting, or rotating of the leg for 6 weeks. She wants me to get on the stationary bike to build up leg strength.

Anyone else have this injury and go through the 6 week waiting period? Other exercises done? I don’t mind getting on the bike, but its boring sometimes. If you have had the injury, what other exercises did you do?

I do other martial arts, and don’t want to lose flexibility. Stretching okay? (full splits, etc)
