I’m fishing for 6 ideas or so to include in some post-class handouts for my KB bootcamp.
Boot runs 6 weeks (plus the skills class); each class is 1 hour long.
I was thinking it would be nice to send home a handout after each class with some nugget of info that either reinforces what we went over, or adds to the class.
So after the skills class they get a dl/sw/gs handout. (due to time-slot availability, no GU during this intro class. I might try to introduce it during the boot classes.
I’m thinking the first handout will be an article from Steve Pavlina on how to prioritize (CARVER rules), the second on general nutrition/diet stuff. (I’m leary of endorsing any particular diet over another. I’m thinking generic normal stuff, like eating fresh veggies, find a diet that works for you, etc… any input welcome)
But that still leaves me 4 other handouts and I’m not sure what would be useful. I have been working w/ bells for quite a while and am having a hard time thinking like a beginner.
My guesstimate at class demographics: 80% women. Varying athleticism.
Ideas?
Thanks!
