I ask because I swing (and have swung for years) like Shaffer teaches, getting low like a box squat and letting the knees come forward a wee bit. Snideman teaches a strict deadlift with hips high and totally static immobile knees.
If both ways are correct, are there any differences in terms of how they influence your body development? I tried swinging like Franz and do not think I could do many reps with a 72lbs bell. Meanwhile, I’ve been swing for sets of 10 in Lisa’s style with the 106lbs bell.
