“Leangains” Intermittent Fasting

Has anyone here tried intermittent fasting? I read on Lyle McDonald’s site a lot and he often mentions this guy: Intermittent fasting for fat loss, muscle gain and health

Reading his posts has got me very interested and looking at his clients and various "success stories" it’s quite clear to me that fasting is not catabolic to muscles or slow down your metabolism. There’s a guide there that explains how to set up a diet using his approach.

Just wondering if anyone has had success in combining this with body weight training circuits and/or kettlebells?.
