Kettlebell Muscle: Workout 1 Complete

The book arrived while I was at work today. Not one to beat around the bush, I read it from cover to cover when I got home and went straight into the first workout. The only pair of kb’s I own are 50′s which, for me, aren’t exactly a "comfortable" set of 10 double presses (but I CAN hit 10). I went ahead with this in mind knowing I’ll probably drop reps as the sets go on.

Set 1: Hit 5 reps on everything, but definitely knew I should bump it down to 4 from here on out
Set 2: Hit 4 reps on everything
Set 3: Hit 4 reps on everything except the presses, which were at 3
Set 4: Repeat of above, presses were quite a bit shaky

Thoughts: From here on out, I will aim for 4 reps on everything, and knock it down to 3 if I get sloppy. Pick a conservative pair of bells. Presses after double snatches suck. Double front squats after anything sucks. The "rest period" sucks. I’m happy to be done working out in 15 minutes. The next 12 weeks will suck.
