My wife asked what it was I do with kettlebells. I offered to demonstrate, and showed her Swings, Snatches, the Clean & Jerk, Windmills, and the Sidepress. I told her that Swings are a core movement, and suggested she give them a try. more »

Machine wusses can stop reading now. This is the routine I will be using for the next two weeks starting Saturday. The main point is variety, mixing up heavy days and light days, and having fun. more »
I'm currently doing one-arm snatches with the 24 kg kettle bell, 10-15 reps per hand, resting 30-40 seconds, and then hitting it again until I reach 100-120 reps total. For variety I'll try to reach higher straight numbers with the 16 kg kettle bell, like 30-40 for each hand. more »
I just thought I would post this for anyone who cares to look:
All workouts are done in 20 minutes and rest periods are kept to around 60 seconds.
Workout 1:
- C&J or cleans, jerks separately
- 2 forward/one back chins w/eagle loops
- Between the leg pass: I do a set with each arm if using one kettlebell then move to the next movement after rest period.
Workout 2:
- Stair walk with two 24kg kettlebells(flight of around 40 stairs, down and up is one set)
- High-rep snatches
- Repeat more »
