Just beast cleans

I have been thinking of getting a beast and once per week doing a workout of just beast cleans keepinng my regular workout the rest of the week. I was in a store that had a 48 and I can clean and jerk it either side once (it aint pretty though). I do a lot of double cleans with 24’s right now, so I can develop the power through the legs/ posterior chain just fine, but I think this would help me control the beast and set up the press. My experierience with the 36 was the press fell once I owned the clean. I would likely do singles and doubles with the beast and try to work my way to sets of 5 reps per side after a few weeks.

Has anybody tried this, do you guys think this is a good plan?
