Is convict conditioning really that great?

It seems like it is getting some pretty good reviews on the dragon door fourm. I am thinking maybe I should buy a copy and check it out. My problem is I had all ready thought out that I wanted to dead lift 400+ # 5 times and complete ROP in 2010. Convict convict conditioning dose not really sound like it fits in with the next step after completing those goals. It sounds like it is it’s own foundation. What do you think about the book for people who are working on other goals? It sounds more like convict conditioning is an entirely different pursuit
