When I eat (too much) of things like lentils and highly fibrous foods, I get loose bowel motions later on, or the next day. Once I had too much lentils over a couple of days, and I ended up getting gas, bloating and full blown diarrheoa. I usually avoid this small problem by eating mostly soluble fibre foods but important foods like broccoli, kidney beans and lentils are vital to a healthy diet and should not be avoided. The doctor also prescribed me with Mebeverine Hydrochloride to use when required. Not sure if this helps.
Do any of you guys have this sort of problem, and if so, how do you deal with it, (apart from taking medicines)? I read somewhere probiotics could help. Do you find this to be the case?
Any thoughts and advice would be much appreciated.
