Will kettlebell training stunt my growth?

I just got my 1 pood kettlebell the other day and I love it. My doctor told me a while ago that I could lift weights as long as I stuck to the 3×15 rep scheme with light weights and didn't powerlift. That never really appealed to me (cybex machines and barbie doll dumbells), so I never formally started lifting weights.

I had always been small and I did not want to stunt my growth, so I stuck to pullups. I've grown a lot, but my doctor says I will grow for a long time to come (I started growing late). Is lifting the 1 pood safe? I mean, will it stunt my growth or not? I really like lifting it, but I don't want to ruin my growth. I would really like your advice Pavel.
