Increasing weight of pre-set kettlebells

I’m a competitive strongman that uses kettlebells for conditioning and posterior chain work… I made a "loadable kb" that I’ve been using in my home gym and I love it. I mostly use it for swings, either going heavy for sets of 10 or doing conditioning work with sets of 30-50.

However, for the next few months I’m gunna be out of my basement gym and thrust into commercial gym. They have preset kettlebells, but the heaviest one is 20kg (44lbs). I used it today for one handed swings and it’s just way too light.

So I’m sure some of you on here have come up with some effective ways to add weight to your KBs, anyone care to share?

Only ideas I have come up with are using bands (dont like that idea) or just tying plates to the bell, but I’m not sure how that would work. Like I said, I mostly just want it for swings, so I’m not worried about how it’d hold up during cleans or snatches…
