I’m hooked……

Just wanted to add my little story here. Was working out in the base gym about 3-4 weeks ago, doing the typical boring circuit training stuff when I saw someone using the kettlebells that were stuck over in the corner. The guy looked pretty strong, so I took notice. Based on my younger days when I used to deadlift and squat, I knew that it was probably a good idea to learn a bit more before I jumped in and gave them a try. So I read a ton of stuff on the internet and ordered Pavel’s book, Enter the Kettlebell, and bought my first 35 lb. kettlebell from the local sports store. It was love at first workout! I’ve done a variety of different physical training programs while I was in the military (27 years worth) but I saw right away that there was something special about kettlebells. The simplicity and effectiveness is amazing. I’ve been doing the PM for the past 3 weeks or so and have already made some good gains. I’ve supplemented my 35 pounder with a 53 (bought from Dragon Door this time– great quality!) which I now use for 2 arm swings and some occasional snatches. I still use the 35 for the get ups. I will be sticking to the PM for probably another month at least and then move on to the ROP.
Just want to say thanks to everyone for the forum talk and articles, I know I’ll be a frequent visitor to the site.
