Forming a Routine!

I’ve just gotten convict conditioning and have started reading it straight away. It seems like a very well put-together book and makes everything clear as day for how to do the exercises and when to do them etc.

I’m going to start the basic program today which is Pushups and Leg Raises one day and Pullups and Squats on another. I want to combine this with some KB conditioning though as I think my fitness would suffer just following the CC program.

My goals are to lose fat (I will be more strict with my diet) and to be strong with BW exercises and the DL and also have good conditioning.

I have thought of doing something like the following and would like to hear any comments if people think it would be a good way of integrating BW and kettlebell/sandbag work or if I should do it differently:

Mon
Warm-Up
Pushups + Leg Raises (as in CC)
12-15mins – Kettlebell Swings with Rope Skipping (like in ETK program minimum)
Turkish Getups

Wed
Warm-Up
Deadlift – 5×5 – 2 warm-up sets followed by three sets of the same weight.
Sandbag circuit – Sandbag C&P/Shoulders/Squats/Rows etc

Fri
Warm-Up
Pullups + Squats (as in CC)
12-15mins – Kettlebell Snatches with Rope Skipping (like in ETK program minimum)
Windmills
