Awhile back on the forum there was mentioned a variant of the arm bar called the "crooked arm bar" ( look up on youtube) . I still do the conventional arm bar quite a bit for shoulder health, and have made great progress in my shoulder re-hab endevours over many months without incident doing the arm bar- and I thought that I had regained FULL shoulder mobility in both shoulders ( I was wrong) . The CAB showed me this. My right shoulder is no where near as mobile or stable as the left. The CAB uncovered this shoulder restriction in ways that the conventional arm bar will not. If you have shoulder movement restrictions give this a try and see for yourself!..Dennis
