I know Convict Conditioning says, in a nutshell, that rest periods between exercises is entirely up to you and your goals. That’s a fine answer in terms of a workout, but what about when "testing" a progression standard?
If a progression standard says 2×20, there is a BIG difference between doing a set of 20, resting 2 minutes, then doing another set of twenty AS OPPOSED to, say, doing the 20, resting 1/2 hour, then repeating a 2nd set of 20.
I can’t help but think there should be SOME rest period standard for the progressions standards, or is that really being too nitpicky?
Hopefully, some one and/or Paul Wade will have an answer for this. Thanks in advance
