Used to work out with weights/Bowflex until about 5-6 years ago, when the Kettlebell hit me ! Once in my hands, I never looked back. Just bought a set of rings, and with the KB, rings and Convict Conditioning, no more gym or weights for me. I seriously think 90% of all average people need only a KB, rings ( and a place to mount them) and some form of body weight excercise routine that will continue to have them gain strength and endurance.
I have learned that as I get older, I also get wiser and for ME, I would now much rather train where my tendons and ligaments catch up to my muscles, and where I do not get injured and suffer a set back. I would rather undertrain, than overtrain at this stage of my life !
Anyway, sorry for the rant, but here is the question. I would like to get a cardio type workout book/DVD. I have looked at the Extreme Cardio and Viking Warrior, but also now like the Kettlebell Muscle book since it looks like a hybrid routine to get the heart pumping yet continue to build strength/muscle.
So, my question would be, what do you think would be the next logicial step to increase my cardio workout from just the normal KB swings I have been doing. There are soooo many great products Dragon Door puts out, sometimes I don’t want to look at the next HardStyle issue !! NOT !
Last thing…I know at some point RKB will be in my aresenal ( already have EKB and CC).
