Can’t move foward in the ROP

I really fixed my clean and press form today. I think the best lesson for anyone that gets stuck and can’t move forward is dropping back and working there way back up to where they are now. It’s not just about dropping back and working back up though. I really think that if you just can’t seem to move forward there is a whole in your form. That is what getting past a Plataea is all about. If you get stuck in the ROP then you need to take a close look at your form and find the whole. Look for places you can add tension and more importantly pretension at a lower point in the progression. The best place to really examine your form and look for the problems is at a weight or volume lower then where you are. Find the whole and then accept it as a set back and let it naturally guide you to where you are in the progression and work back up. The one last thing I learned is that your really can not reach a certain level of fatigue in the smaller muscles of your body durring a full body exercise unless you are doing it wrong. In a full body move like the clean and press your hips should be getting tired before your arms can even reach a certain point that they can reach if you are not doing it right.
