I am going to start using kettlebells as a part of my training. I have been browsing all of the materials on this site. The book that interests me most on this topic is "Viking Warrior Conditioning" by kenneth Jay. It seems from reading the description that it is not intended for a beginner and that I must first learn how to snatch in good form. Is this an accurate observation?
If so, I will need to first purchase a beginner’s book on Kettlebells. Does Pavel’s book entitled "Enter the Kettlebell" teach one how to do the snatch? I’m also interested which quick-start kit I would need. 35/44/53 are available. I’m not sure if these are helpful in deciding this but my Deadlift is 300 and my Benchpress is 190. The ETK page lists it as "average man" and "strong man" for either 35 or 44 respectively. I’m not sure which one I qualify as, though. Does anyone have any advice on what size to start with?
